Our website has been designed to provide the latest news, events and information about our school so families and friends can keep abreast of the diverse things happening in our school. We do hope that it will be useful to you all of you who are already part of our community but also to those who may be considering applying for a place at Grand Avenue Primary & Nursery School. Paper copies of any of our documents are available on request from the school office.

It must be remembered that our website can only provide an outline of the varied opportunities and learning experiences the children and staff enjoy at Grand Avenue which those of you who know our school well, can appreciate. We are always very proud to show-off our school and celebrate in the achievements of our children so, if you do not yet know our school, I invite you to come and look around, ask questions and experience what makes Grand Avenue Primary & Nursery School truly GRAND!

We have high expectations for all our children and achieve this through creating a positive learning environment where lessons are interactive and creative and filled with opportunities for the children to think, explore, discover and share.

We are also very fortunate in being able to provide some outstanding facilities for our children as we have just come to the end of some extensive building work. This will support the school on its continued journey to three forms of entry.

Grand Avenue Primary & Nursery School prides itself on providing a quality education for all children which is fun, varied and equips the children for life in the 21st century.
